Hi, ok so a bit of background first.
So about 2 years ago while riding my bike a rode over a wheel trim , this got caught under my lower fairing and broke it.

After considering my options, I decided I would repair them using other fairings as the damage wasn't too bad. As another option I also bought a second hand GRP fairing of the internet about £80 at the time (heard bad things about chinese fairings), It was in the incorrect colours but was painted white were I needed white. so I decided to paint the entire fairing white except the top bit near the lights as this would remain red. Basically my painting was a good standard of finish in most parts but had the occasion run and spots where paint was too thin, So got the idea to put the remaining colours on using vinyl. I know a guy who does this , told him of my idea , he said he could match any colour in vinyl, this was needed as my tail unit is the original so needed a match.
Anyway went today to help apply them, took a while but was well worth it, absolutely fantastic match, haven't finished with the vinyl but just thought you guys should know. In all honesty I didn't think it would match that well but man was I surprised!

thats the two panel side by side , (dust on the old one)

re-created V piece join using vinyl
