My white and red 3tj was Cat D after a guy u turned on me In August. I thought it was mostly settled but the insurance broker (not the insurance company) wanted a new MOT and independent assessment to prove the bike was Ok. They reduced my cover from Comp to Third Party until this was done. So on Saturday I took the bike for the mot. The garage were surprised it needed one but sorted it and are sending me the assessment on Wednesday.
While I was there I heard the guy on the phone talking about the bike ... lovely thing it is, wish I never sold mine ... He asked to sit on it before I took it away.
I came back down the elevated A40 Westway, it's 3 lane but 40mph. I was in lane 3 the right hand lane behind a car there was a transit inside that car so it couldn't pull in. Then I saw an Escorts van front wing come up on my left, he dropped behind me and started tailgating I eased off the throttle to move him back. He came up my right side and squeezed me, I knocked his mirror he dropped behind me again gated me waving his arms, then came up again on my inside window open an shouting.
The car in front of me pulled a few lengths on the transit I followed then the road drops to two lanes, cleared a bit and I couldn't see the van. I'm still behind the car then he's on my inside swerved in hit me off the bike and I see ground sky etc. He drove off.
I got a broken collarbone and dislocated my other thumb.
Police have found him
There's a witness
I haven't seen the bike but the police say it pushes and damage is the left side.

Makes my piss boil stuff like this! I hope the police push for dangerous driving on the twat!
I also hope someone leaves a little piece of folded paper with you that has his address on it....

If you need the bike trailering back I can help, I'm only just up the road in Borehamwood.

What a c**t! Any idea if there's cameras on that section of road? Pricks like that need taking to the cleaners.

Cheers - I've got a garage picking the bike up, they're keen because insurance work is their bread and butter, I know them quite well too.
It will be easily a dangerous driving charge with added leaving the scene, failure to report ... he'll defiantly be banned, he could get sent down for it.

Bugger! At least you were able to walk away, albeit a bit worse for wear. Hope they throw the book and you heal quickly!
