ZXR400 FORKS INTO NC30 HELP

Post by benny »

So i've got the forks and the kit (second hand) and my old yokes out but i just cant figure out how the new ones fit. At the lower yoke on the new ones it seems to have a spacer looking thing then a tapered roller bearing. I cant get this to fit into the bottom of the NC30 frame, does that spacer need to go all the way in? I then have another spacer that looks slightly tapered. Where does this go? Do i use the upper bearings from my old yokes? Where does this spacer go?
I tried searching fro a thread with photos but found nothing

Ok to amend:
I have the two taper roller bearings and their tapered covers but I can't figure how to fit these into the nc30 frame with enough thread showing to fit the top yoke nut

Ok.. realized my problem. I didn't realize the races needed changing. Now trying to fix the problem of how to install the new ones properly or get the bike to a shop who can do it for me (when my bike has no wheels attached!)
