Front brake master cylinder

Hi Guys,

Has anyone used a 5/8" bore front master cylinder on their NC30 with standard calipers? I rebuilt the calipers on my other halfs bike, fitted braided dual lines, bendix supersport pads and although I feel it is bled correctly the lever is a tad spongey. I have aftermarket "spazzo" levers so perhaps the ratio isn't quite right but they need to be on the largest span setting and the general feel of the brakes isn't sharp.

Perhaps it's the m/cyl that's needing a rebuild, but I was curious about fitting a larger bore before rebuilding or replacing the 14mm std item.

ive never tried it personally but ive read on here a few people adviced against it.

It does sound like you have a problem wtih your master cylinder though, maybe there is air in the top,

doube banjo with integrated bleed nipple is often good idea for the master cylinder, but a rebuild kit will probably help too.
