hi i might be sounding like a dumb arse is there a decent gasket to go on my wifes cbr400rr silencer as its started to blow.

Yes there is, its still available from the usual places for around £6 but you might find that high temp black loctite silicon works OK, especially if its an after market can. I use it myself. With the advantage it can be used as sealant else where.
