Nc29 calipers

I've got an nc29 track bike. It has standard calipers on it. Does anyone have any experience of putting other (better) calipers on?
What will bolt straight on?
My breaks are pretty good they are but looking for something that could give me a bit more bite!
Cheers

The options would be almost limitless wouldn't they??
Are CBR600 brakes bigger??
I've seen people make adapter brackets to use the existing CBR400 fork lowers too.
I know I haven't helped you much sorry but I can guarantee some of the other members will give you the answers you need. Heaps of guys on here race their CBRs' and don't use standard brakes.
Good luck!

Heaps on here do race them and do use std brakes - they just have to be serviced
Changing fork lowers for MC28 or firestorm will get you the bigger Nissins from the CBR6RR, blades, SP1 etc
Or NC30 lowers with brackets to get the same

Clean and service the brakes and I mean a proper service not a scrub with a toothbrush, new seals and pistons if required a decent master cylinder and some braided lines and the 29 will happily lift the rear wheel
alternativly swap the fork bottoms as CMsMCRR said
or put caliper brackets on to add a little extra unsprung weight and ruin the look of the bike

I had braided lines and to be honest I'm fairly happy with their performance but had comments from folk in the pit lane on Sunday at a trackday that I should get bigger calipers.
I'll wait til after my next track day (which will be the last of the year) then I'll maybe just give a good overhaul

Probably the same people who will tell you you need a bigger bike....
until you drag then in on the brakes and then ride around the outside of them

Agree with this although the 4 piston calipers and a radial master cylinder do give much better feel
