It's with great regret that I've had to make the decision to sell my 4dx. its not mint but has newly powder coated white wheels with like new tyres and a blue spot brake mod. I'm selling as my girlfriend actually liked going on the back but it's obviously not a 2 up bike so I've got its big sister the fzr600r. I've tried to keep it but now realised I need the money to point my house :-(. My question is do you think I'd be better selling it as a runner or breaking it and letting you in the know make the most out of the increasingly hard to get parts

If you sold all the parts you'd probably get a similar amount as a running riding bike. Although some parts are worth a bit you'd probably end up with an am out of bits that wouldn't shift.

Hi dobbslc, it's a 92 k reg with approx 52,000 miles. As you'll know it's the UK spec but unfortunately due to an old problem it's running a 3tj cdi, not a problem it's works as it should but obviously restricted. Good things are new battery, newly powder coated wheels, like new tyres, good blue spot brake conversion with new pads all round. Rides nice but like I say not really for 2 up. The body work is not bad worst bit being a couple cracks on nose fairing and chip and bit of rust on tankjseam. I've also fitted mirrors with built in led indicators. I do have the original calipers and mirrors if required. I live at rastrick in West Yorkshire very near to Huddersfield. not sure how to put pics on but if you want some I've got loads of the part restoration I've done. Tax and test till end April 2015.
