Pretty much as the title is, does the hub fit the arm.

I think I can get my hands on a good condition hub so was hoping my nc30 axle etc would fit . I might just take a gamble on it.

Re: does a bros400 hub fit an nc30 arm.
Why do you want to fit it? IS your hub broken? NC30 hubs can be rebuilt quite easily.
Im not sure on sizes but I think there is a difference in the hubs construction, the price for the nc30 hub is double the price of the bros hubs (and they are different part number)
hub will probably fit in the wheel but not sure about the shaft, maybe the splines will stik out too much

Re: does a bros400 hub fit an nc30 arm.
The reason for buying is I don't have a hub, just a bare swing arm.
If I get it cheap enough I'll but it.
I think i remember seeing US 'hawks' with nc24 rear wheels and vfr750 rear wheels so thought the hub would fit with little adjustment.

VFR750 wheel on a bros is easy, it was common to machine the axle to fit the 4 bolt wheel, like for the nc30 to fit the 750 wheel, i guess same for nc24.royster81 wrote:The reason for buying is I don't have a hub, just a bare swing arm.

dont know if any axle swapping or hub swappign was involved.
they all use cush-drvies though which the nc30 doesnt. i think the vfr axle was longer than the bros hub which is why people machined the stock axle to fit the vfr / nc24 etc whees.
be intresting to see hwo you get on if you get it.

Re: does a bros400 hub fit an nc30 arm.
I dont know how much different that will make, if you plan on using the VFR axle in the hub it should be fine, id imagine the cushdrive unit might be slightly wider than the nc30 sproket holder which would explain the diferent shaft lenghts.royster81 wrote:Ah, didn't realise the bros had a Cush drive. itll probably all go together ok.
mc28 (nsr250) hubs fit fine...

Re: does a bros400 hub fit an nc30 arm.
They are different. My bros has an nc30 drive on it to get rid of the Cush drive, I would have just fitted the whole cn eccentric or axle if it had fitted.
