ive just stripped my carbs for the first time. i noticed that all the jets (number 37) were warped to some degree on the ends.what would cause this? is it normal?
i also noticed that the jet in the fourth carb, the right hand one as you sit on the bike. some of its holes appeared to be countersunk . as though the outer part of the hole was slightly bigger than the hole below.

would this be a problem? is it a sign that something is amiss?

when i opened the fourth carb and only in the fourth there was a pasty/chalky residue on the slide.
