can any 1 tell me if the tyga twin stack full system is any good with a race set up or is there any better systems out there?

Thats got to depend on what you define as a race set up.

I believe a race set up to be something like:

Engine work (ported/ 'flowed heads, high lift cams, high compression pistons etc etc)
HRC (or equivalent) carbs, total loss air of the air box or ram air
HRC (or equivalent) carb tray/scoop, programmable CDI

ETC ETC

So what are you running and then is it to race? track day? or road?

FWIW Twin stack are allegedly ideal on the dyno as the rear cylinders (oftenly carburated differently (different needles)) can be set up more easily as one can does the from set and the other does the rear cylinders.

mhp, rlr, mercury swona, all make good twin stack systems, the tyga one in my opinion dosent look rite it looks like the bottom can is to low it should be above what is there top can, this could lead to ground clearance issues if racing, have a look at a picture of the tyga system next to a picture of say the mhp system and you will see what i meen, jap 4 performance sell both have a look at there web site. but twin stack systems do hold an advantage over a single can system, so get the best you can afford and invest in some dyno time.

the trouble with twin stacks is if you drop it on the left side you will take out two cans, i refer the sp1 style systems because their look but also because which ever side you drop it your only gona trash one, and you still get the advantage of the twin cans for jetting

With regards to the ground clearance issues of a TYGA system there are none we have a few customers running the system on race bikes with no problems also Rick Oliver has just got a system from us and will have pics coming soon.
