Anyone running an aftermarket temp gauge?

Post by nickbawt »

Im looking to replace the current water temp gauge with a more accurate analogue aftermarket gauge that fits into the instrument cluster.

Does anyone have anything installed? Id like to keep it OEM as possible so black face with white lettering, analogue and preferably same size as standard gauge.

Also, does anyone use or would recommend the use of an oil temp gauge? My NC30 is a jap import so no oil cooler but am interested to hear thoughts of if a oil temp gauge.

Cheers for any feedback.

What's wrong with the current temp gauge? You're swapping analogue for analogue so you're not going to see any improvement, the OEM gauge works fine.

Oil temp gauge - you don't need one.

The HRC temp gauge will fit and its labelled more clearly but its not cheap if you can find one.

I'm curious as to why you want such items though?
