NC29 Brake and accelerator issue
Hi,
I'm busy doing a cleanup on an NC29, I am having 2 issues, if anyone could please assist.
1 - I changed the Calipers, upon putting the replacement ones on, I attempted to bleed the brakes, with the old pump pump, open the nipple, tighten the nipple pump pump until the air is out. Now most of the air is out, however theres still no pressure on the the brake lever, it still feels as if it was never bled??? could this be the master cylinder thats shot??
2 - The accelerator cable snapped, and the closing cable was well on its way....I removed the 2 cables, and what to me looked Identical, to the cable guys apparently the one cable was longer than the other? Could anyone please confirm if the one is indeed longer than the other, and if so, which one is the longer one?
I put the cable back, and when I open the throttle, it stays there, it doesnt seem to close, unlesss I close it by hand. Now I'm not sure if they supposed to be the same length and the cable guy actually messed up and made the one shorter, now the cables are too tight? or if I have them back to front ie: short one on the top and long one at the bottom.
Please any assistance would be great!
Cheers

Re: NC29 Brake and accelerator issue
Hi, the best way to bleed your brakes would be to reverse bleed them with a syringe, both sides then once you have fluid coming up the master cylinder bleed them the right way up and hopefully everything will work.
edit: just looked and I have both cables spare and they appear to be just about the same size ( maybe. a cm longer on the push)although the push cable is not oem and is made by KSI Japan.

Try using a rubber band to hold the front brake on over night once youve bleed them .
