Hi.i brought the nc30 inside in november.but didnt drain the carbs.the tank hasnt been on the bike,so do u think they will need cleaning before i start it?or shall i just go or it??ta

Its only a few months so id bet they will be ok, might run a bit wolly to begin with but give it a good thrash and im sure it would be fine.

I would say the Carbs side of things would be fine - but I would also take the Oil filler cap out and have a good sniff of the oil.

If it just smells of oil - result, fire it up

If it smells like petrol you may have a leaky fuel tap (assuming you turned it off) and a sticky float that has let fuel run through. If it does smell like petrol I would do an oil and filter change before firing it up.

Before you fit the tank back on fully charge the battery and push a funnel in the fuel feed hose and add a little fuel.
If it does not run well, easier to remove carbs than tank and fairings as well.

Id just cracnk it for 3 - 5 seconds and let it rests two minutes and then crank it again, full choke not throttal and it should start fine.

My bike was not run since November and it started first touch of the button last month...

id only worry about fuel going shitty after about 6 months, maybe 3 months in a really hot place.

Yeh.i am worried about the state of the fuel in tank.should i empty it?its been full since october/novmber
