I'm looking for a new drive chain and sprocket for my cb400sf NC31 project big.
I have problems with spare parts numbers. I've found those parts:
Drive chain :
Chain type 525
Chain Number of Links: 112 or 110 (I do not know which of these is correct)
EX: DID D525VX110 or SFR 525 HVO
Front sprocket: JTF 297-15 (15 teeth)
Rear sprocket: JTR 1332-42 (42 teeth)

I do not know if these parts are correct. Please help me.

I only can answer part of your question.

Chain type: DID D525VX is X-ring which is the one to go for. How many links does your current chain have? If you have a chain tool then you can make a long chain shorter just by taking out links.

Sprocket sizes 15 and 42 sound about right, but you might consider a smaller one at the rear e.g. JTR 1332-40 or even 38. You lose in acceleration but you ride lower revs on the motorway.

15-37 will net you around 4.5k at 100k/hr in 6th, I think I am using a 108 Link chain as well and it sits around 3-4 dashes back on the adjuster markings. 15-38 will give you a good drop in RPM and keep it manageable on take off as well.
