Just wondering the length of the rvf forks from axle centre to the top of the fork please! I googled my little heart out but to no avail...

Depends on how much compressed they are at time of inspection!

the one in the workshop (http://www.rgv-workshop.co.uk) sitting on the side stand is 695mm

711mm including caps (+-1mm)
