i always run 160 is up to you really 150 is standard, try em both annd make your mind up ;)

90 is softer. your better of running alpha 10's thou, newer compound.

like you i ride all yr..
my set up is:
120/60/17-H BT092
150/60/17-H BT092

i used to have a 090 front for extra grip and 092 rear for longevity. 092 front is perfectly fine for grip btw...

alpha 10's are great.. but square off ridiculously quick, i got through a rear in under 1000 miles.

bt92's are a great everyday choice.

and you ve probably started the the great 160 chicken line battle! ive got 160s and they ride good, feel confident getting over. but i dont know a lot mate to tell the truth. had metzeler rennsports and they sound like the ones above, specially down here on isle o wight rough roads and they wear thru quick.

BT 010r, cracking set of tyres, good all round gip, fast warm up time, good wet weather tyre as well, but it all depends on your kind of riding to what tyre choice you go for to be honest ;) ;)

why run zr rated tyres on a 400 ?

had 010's on a zxr i bought a while back .. whole different world of grip/feedback compared to 090/092/alpha 10.. a worse one.

besides, they're what ? 4 years old and unavailable now.

Run a 165/55 on mine. Tyres are personal preference and personal set up. What works for one dog squirts down the inside leg of another.

The standard rear rim is 4 1/2" and a 160 or 165 sits better on a 5" rim. The tyre isnt pinched and over round when using a 5" rear.
