NC30 Rear Wheel R-Pin dimensions.

Post by NGneer »

Anyone got a rear Wheel R Pin (like this. http://japan.webike.net/products/1057146.html ) Handy that they Could take a couple of measurements of?

The local equivalent of B&Q out here has several sizes of these so thought I would stock up, but short of riding the bike down the aisle to test fit the pins, I am still left guessing between about 3 options which all look pretty close to me.

Ive got a TSR R pin i'll go and measure in a bit, i tried a while back finding a suitable R pin and ordered a whole range of sizes from ebay and none fitted properly. They maybe expensive but they work and look decent too

Cheers Tony

I noticed these R pins in the local B&Q equivalent a few weeks ago and keep meaning to check as there a a few sizes and they were quite cheap (from what I remember). I have the good old fashioned Split Pin on the bike I have out here at the moment otherwise I would have just whipped that one out to compare.

If they do have a size to suit - it would seem rude not to pick some up wouldn't it ;)

Jim - very true and even on the continent via Tyga EU, they are only €2 each or rather €2.50 with tax (http://www.tygaeurope.com/store/product ... en-pro-arm) so just €10 for four (always worth having a sparer). Unfortunately Tyga totaly loose the plot with the delivery charges and delivery for x4 of these little clips (from Germany to Germany) makes the final bill more like €25! - yes the postage is more than the items themselves :o

Hence if I can get a size guide - I can just go to the shop in town pick some up for about €2 each and not being raped for the delivery in the process ;)
