Hi guys new to the website and new owner of a 1985 fz400r.
I've come to realise parts for these are like rocking horse poop.
And actually finding a intact one is near as hard.
Just wondering what you think its worth please?.

Hi there
welcome to the forum - sadly I don't know what your bike's worth but it might be worth a look at the FZ600. These used the same frame but with the old XJ600 aircooled engine, I had one new back in the day. Most of the bike parts "look" similar and possibly good news is the FZ600 is now a competative track bike so you might find some road bits being sold off or some after market parts being made.

EBay ? Measure the original, the bolt head should be enough.

If the sump leaks from the plug chances are its the sump threads that are damaged or the copper / alluminium washer hasnt been renewed or fitted.
