Can anyone confirm, is the speedo from a VFR400 NC30 the same as a CBR400 NC29?

I want a MPH speedo, but don't want the converter or an overlay.

I have been looking at this set from Lockwood. It seems a few people on here have fitted them, are they OK.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

the templates i have to make your own white dial faces arent the same from NC30 to NC29.
BUT my old dial face was black & in MPH..
HOWEVER: IF you fit a mph reading face... you then need to remove the speed limiter by fitting the resistor mod or while your fitting teh face.. to CAREFULLY remove the disk that fitted to the inside of the speedo.
ALSO.. your speed will read in MPH.. but your trip & odometer WILL read in Kilometres, now i am used to mine like that, but it does confuse my MOT tester when he thinks its all in miles.
the MPH ones in mine came from :
Seespeed Ltd, 8 Binghill Park, Milltimber
Aberdeenshire, AB13 0EE, Tel: 01224 733888
i have NO idea if they are still going.

now here is a link to a scan of a NC29s dials at 100%. email this to any of the many companys who make custom dials & ask them for a quote.

Just in case any one is interested, I brought one of these,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171209128723? ... 1423.l2649

It came very quickly and the quality looks just as good as OEM. I fitted it this morning, the size and shape is identical to the original one and the numbers seem to match up as well. The only thing I could see that was a bit shoddy, was the km/h numbers have been printed on, then the trip and odo meter holes have been cut out and some of the numbers have been cut in half. If you look at the link, the picture is exactly what you get.

The guy has them listed as VFR400 and CBR400. I'm not sure if the faces are different between the two, but it differently fits a CBR400 NC29.
