I own a nc30 and feel the engine is slowly giving up . is it possible to throw a cbr 600 engine inside

Im going to throw it out there and say definitely not, the 600 engine would be far far to wide.
There are few well documented conversions out there.

Vfr750 engines have been done a few times with frame mods, there was some photos of a ktm 990 vtwin being attempted but that disappeared.

You want to research it before you go trying anything.

WHy not just get another nc30 engine, wont compromise the handling and still a quick machine if ridden right.

Yeah agree with the above, a cbr6 engine will go into a CBR400 with a bit of help, but you'll never get one in a vfr, even the vfr750 is mega tight. I'd like to see a sv650 or something like that in one, but without lots and lots of work it wont be easy.

Hasn't there been a couple of SV attempts?

Wasn't there one with the TDM 850 engine shoved up it?

SV650 has been attempted before, from memory it was on an NZ forum. Think it was halted though due to lack of funds

I think there's someone here in California that put a SV650 engine in a NC35
