Carbs

Are the carbs on a 3en1 the same as the 3tj1 ?

No.

They'll fit but need to be tuned to the engine, but the airboxes are different. By the time you mess about with everything you might as well use the right carbs on the right bike.

Cheers im not talking about the wholecarbs just the float bowl covers one of mine has a small crack by the fuel drain tap thingy lol if any one know if i can fix the crack or if ine from 3en1 carbs will fit carbs from a 3tj1 if you know what i mean lol

The float bowl gaskets are the same so I'd say the bowls probably are as well. I think the 3en1 carbs were the same as 3en2 so it should be ok

Thanks just looking at the pictures eould you say the 2 pipe cinnected to the float bowls on the 3en1 carbs would matter because there in a different place on the 3tj1 carbs other than that they look identical

Ive been considering some epoxy adhesive to fill the cracks and loctite gasket stuff ???

You might get away with epoxy steel but dont use gasket sealant on a float bowl. If any of it goes into the bowl it gets pulled into the carb and gums everything up.

Somebody might have a spare bowl from some old carbs - which one is it ?
