The speedo drive plastic gear is toast on my gk76a.
Tried the bay,nothing.
Is there a place I can buy the gear?
Are there any other bikes that use the same drive?
Seen a couple of similar types on ebay,but unsure if the drive will be the same size gear.

Hi Joe. If you mean the speedo drive unit mounted to the L/H side of the front wheel then I've just had to replace the original unit on my GK76a with an identical used one that came from an RF 600. (Found it on Ebay for £25 quid). You can't replace the large white nylon drive gear, (naturaly ), only the whole unit which, having looked on Robinsons Foundry's web site, will cost you £80 quid for a new one !! The same drive is also used on VJ22 RGV 250's.

bringing up an old thrad i know but will the bandit 75a drive work? seems to be a lot more of them on ebay and a lot cheaper they seem to look identical but no need to buy one if it doesnt work
