how do i find out or work out what year my nc30 is?? only date i can find is an import date nothing else but the colour code..

The colour code indicates it's a 1989 (K model) red/white/blue bike (type 1).

If accurate, you can also determine the model year from the chassis number. But your registration plate is not OEM, so it might not be the correct, original chassis number. What does the headstock say?

The paint code sticker is a good indication, but it is attached to a removable part (the rear mudguard/fender), and you can order those stickers from Honda, so they are no guarantee.

Doubt it, its a Japanese K model according to the pictures and that strange import plate attatched to the frame by some importer.

Does the headstock match that?

look for the chassis number on the headstock
