I know a certain model CBR600F had 41mm forks, can't remember which year, you'd have to check. Whether they are the right length I don't know - they'd probably be a bit long, you'd probably have them sticking out the top of your yoke. See if you can find a set of 400RR-R forks.

Bit late to be of any help but for reference, all of the F model CBR600 forks upto and including the F3 do fit the NC23 and NC29 in as much as they are all 41mm Showa forks of a similar basic model type. They are a fair bit longer than either CBR4 model forks and do foul the standard NC23 fairing brace if you set the front end to the same height as it was before the swap. I cannot confirm just how much they protrude above the top yoke as I did not try that exact route. For reference, F4 forks are 43mm and will not bolt straight in.
Personally I used F3 CBR6 uppers and internals (cartridge type on the F3 models) with my existing NC23 lowers giving me stiffer springs, preload and rebound adjustment and I have kept the existing mudguard and brake setup (which doesnt need improvement with my own level of riding). Using 5W oil, the CBR6 air gap and whacking the rebound right up I now have what I think is a worthwhile improvement over the stock forks with none of the choppiness that I found when I used 15W oil in the stock forks to gain more rebound damping. I do however have very little steering lock now due to the protrusion of the forks above the top yoke but that shall be sorted with a replacement fairing brace when I get round to it.
For reference, you cannot fit the F3 fork internals to the NC23 uppers (and I would suspect all other non-cartridge type Showa forks) as the fundamental design is different at the lower end of the upper. For further reference, the F3 uses 10W fork oil as standard (the Honda manual gives you a Honda specific oil type which doesnt mention the weight). Oh and one last point, dont remove the preload adjuster at the top of the damping rod without measuring/marking and returning it to its its exact position on the damper rod as you will knock out the rebound adjuster settings. The fork seals and bushes (top and bottom) are identical for all of the CBR4 and 41mm CBR6 forks.
I have included the last bit of info as I tried to find out the same info prior to doing the above swap a couple of months ago and found that the search function on here is terrible and doesnt like searching for frequently searched keywords so this may be of some use for a little while....

Re: do cbr 600f front forks fit a nc29?
I read somewhere that the RRR nc29 forks use the same cartridges as the rvf400 , so i have some rvf forks in the garage that arent cosmetically very good.
Will the cartridges fit into my 1993 nc29 forks if i use the fork top caps from a cbr600f ??
