starter fluid

hi, my superfour is 1993 and not been run for 13 years, it turns over. I cant get the bugger to start. Has anyone tried starter fluid? Weres the best place to stick it? No funny remarks please!

Your probably gonna be better off removing the carbs and rebuilding them. After 13 years there is probably gonna be a large amount of gunk built up in the carbs and as a result it will probably not run well at all. If you are mechanically minded you can pull apart the carbs and put kits through them. An easier option would be to remove them and send them off for a good clean and checkup.

Easy start wont sort that out!
Carb rebuild, new oil & coolant, plugs, etc.
I'd put a small amount of engine oil down each bore as well.
After 13 years being unused you should also check the brakes and suspension, it WILL need work.
