Hey all,

For anyone lucky enough to own one.
What does a geniune HRC CDI unit look like?

The one on offer looks like this:

iv got one of these as does smev and some other people

its not a HRC CDI its a HRC speed derestrictor and does the dame job as the little resistors that go in the speedo (removes the 120mph restriction)

As Spike says, all that little HRC goodie does it remove the 180kph speed restiricton.

Ah excitement over then. :)
Think mine has a m-max desrestriction, then again what colour is a m-max box. Mine has a grey CDI unit which hinted towards aftermarket, not to mention the plug has been disconnected from the speedo.

you can also get a cheap plug and play thing from rick for £6 ish that does the same job
