NC30 Fuel tank breather hose and airbox collector hose

The breather hose runs from the tank and then gets to a T piece, from the T piece two pipes run down the side of the bike.... I dont understand the logic? Why not just run 1 hose? The only thing I can think of is a little fuel may get into the hose which may run down the pipe and cause a vacuum in the tank. By keeping the pipe length short from the tank to the t piece the risk of this is reduced because as soon as the fuel hits the T piece it is free to run without causing a vacuum? Am I right or whats the deal?

While I am at it, there is a pipe that runs off a collector off the top section of the air box? What is this for? not sure if it is supposed to catch condensation or fuel run off (overfilling?) off the underside of the tank to stop it from spilling onto a hot engine and catching fire?

I also don't really see the need for the breather hose to be so long, mines only one hose which just reaches down behind the front rad.

The second is for fuel over-filling, I really need to get mine sorted as I currently don't have one and sometimes manage to over-fill slightly.....

Thanks.... Maybe just make sure that pipe isn't pointing at an exhaust header :)
