Hi all,
I've been searching through posts on the forum trying to dig for useful 23 mods , and stumbled accross a throttle mod that sounds interesting. I used a zx10r throttle slide and grip on my 7r to get full throttle @ 1/4 turn and it feels much better.

Am i correct in thinking you can use the 29 throttle on the 23? Does anyone know if both cables are a straight swap?

hey, Im also very interested in this as the throttle tube for my NC23 has cracked and I cant find a replacement, Matt if you do replace it with an NC29 one and want to sell your NC23 one I may be interested in buying it off you.

Adrian: My throttle tube is also cracked! That's why i was looking into which bikes throttle system may fit.

I'm sure you will be able to source a standard replacement somewhere though? David Silver spares? Graeme France?

its as easy as this...if you want a 1/4 turn throttle for your 23 or 29...get nsr mc21 tube and housing...the cables fit,but you will need to file the little lug down on the cable so it doesnt hit the throttle tube housing....ive been racing with this set up for about 3 years now...no probs

Good luck with searching for the NSR250 throttle tube on ebay... I 've recently got one after searching for over a year!!! I priced up new genuine Honda parts and it comes to approx £60 for the throttle tube, upper and lower housings. I've yet to fit it though

never had a prob...the wreckers here are fairly good,i paid $20 au for mine...which is prob about 7pound for you lot over there.
