Bandit is having weak sparks.
Hello.
I bought a bandit 400 as non driving machine.
I cleaned carps, bought new battery and spark plugs . after a lot of start spray and external batteries, it started and i drove for 40 minutes.
and started the machine every day for 2 weeks running i 2-3 minutes.
and they day that i had to get my driving plates from the office, i couldn't start.
i have teted the ignition coils. both seems fine, i testes the sparkplugs on another machine, fine sparks, i tested the ignition sender also fine, so my guess is a bad cdi?
But...
the problems:
the sparks are very weak, sometimes i cant even see them. when i take the plug to my old scooter, the spark is alot bigger and easy to see.(battery full charged and with jumpers from car)
and i dont know wich model i have.
since i am 2. buyer, i found that the bandit is imported from germany. By the vin number i assume that it is an GK-75A since it "GK-75A" is a part of the vin number. But on the little steel plate on the vin, holding bike information, the GK-75A vin number is listed, but beneeth it, it is saying model: GK-75B
Please help me
