NC30 HEAD LIGHTS HAVE STOPPED WORKING, THEY ONLY WORK ON FULL BEAM, ALL OTHER LIGHT'S WORK BACK LIGHT, INDICATORS, SPEEDO, REV COUNTER ETC..

ANYONE WITH A EASY FIX ???

Check that you have not burnt the switch out.. What rating bulbs have you been using?

Turn the caps off too please man..it is hard on the eyes!

do you perhaps have a Japanese spec NC30 that you've put 55/60 (H4) bulbs in?

The Japanese bike uses 35/60watt bulbs so the H4 bulbs burn out the switch. You need a new switch and to install a relay for the low-beam, search the forum for enlightenment

yes it is jap spec, don't know what bulbs are in as i have not changed them since i had the bike. can i get a new switch or do i need to look for a salvage part.

remove the block connector that comes from the switchgear and the connector that goes to the lights start bridging the terminals and if your lights come on then you know the switchgear is goosed.

ok found a left switch on ebay, is it worth checking the fuse first?

you may be as well checking the fuse as it will only take a few minutes...
i would disconnect the connector and try bridging the terminals to see if the lights come on that way,if they do come on then the switchgear is goosed but if not then the problem lies elsewhere.
