hello, at the minute im trying to fit the yoke from a G reg gsf400 on to my M reg gsf400 but after getting the ignition barrel to fit and then sliding it down the forks I noticed the stem is too short so I cant do up the 30mm nut,

my question is if I removed the stem and the bottom yoke from the G reg would it all fit correctly on my M reg?
