Brake pads?

Got a 3TJ and been lurking around for the past month or so, so now it's time for my first post to you knowledgeable people.
I need to replace both front and rear pads and was hoping for some advice on what's the best manufacturer and best place to buy? Ebay seems to list mostly Goldfren, Pyramide Part and EBC, any experience with these or suggested alternatives appreciated. Also any views on the advantages of replacing the standard lines with braided?

What are you using it for mainly, road or track?
I can't actually remember what mine are but they are some race spec pads and boy does it help the stopping. May be usefull for you to know that the pad size is the same as the blue spot calipers so any early r1/r6 pads will go straight in.

Thanks both, bike is currently only used on the road. What's the opinion on replacing the standard lines with braided?

The pads i suggested are for road and trackday use, and yes braided hoses help the braking be sharp and precise....

Braided hoses should make a massive improvement to the brakes. Stainless steel braided hoses have a lot less volumetric expansion than rubber hoses and also offer better heat dissipation. Goodridge claim up to a 25% increase in brake efficiency!
If the original hoses are still fitted they are probably over due replacement as rubber hoses deteriorate and should be replaced periodically, regardless of external appearance!
As for pads ,i use EBC HH pads. Found them to work and wear well.

I got my Hel braided brake lines from B&C Express, i had to order the 4DX kit as they say they don't have the spec sheet for the 3TJ even though it is exactly the same.
I remember some one posting this link a while back when someone else asked about braided lines, they come up at £52 for 2 front pipes with stainless fittings and clear hose.

brakes4u also do EBC HH pads for £19.56 Inc VAT so you can get lines and pads and combine the shipping to save a few pound.
