Brake drag after fork rebuild.

Hey.
As the title says really. I took my forks out to change the seals and when I've put it all back together the brakes seem to be dragging on the front.
Is there any way to check the forks are perfectly straight? I'm thinking if they are sitting a little bit off it'll cause the caliper to sit funny on the disc.
Any other ideas?
Thanks, Phil.

the sliders can rotate about the stanchions so it cannot be that..and if you put the axle back and the spacers right....then I reckon a ride will see the disc set the clearance on the pads and it won't rub.

I'll give that a go, thanks!

Have you actually ridden the bike since you put everything back together? If not, then I'd agree with the above.

Update -
I went for a ride and it has cured about 90% of the noise. However it seems that on the right hand side the brake seems to rub on the caliper at a certain point during the wheel rotation.
Do you think this will be to do with the pads being unevenly worn? They didn't look it when I had the caliper off.

If a caliper is rubbing on the disc, and didn't before then I would look at the spacers again. Sounds like the wheel didn't get centered properly...

Is it only rubbing on one section of the disc or one section of the pad?
If it's one section of the disc it's probably warped.
Get the front end off the ground and take off your right hand caliper then rotate the wheel. If it doesn't rub at all on the other side then you obviously only need one new disc
If it's one section of the pad then I'd say a piston is stuck.

I wouldn't have thought it was the disc as it was fine before I did the fork rebuild. I'll check the pads, pistons and wheel spacers.

Losen the caliper and the axle nuts, roll it and brake, hold brake and tighten the axle nut and then the caliper nuts. At least that's what remember to align everything.
