Trying to remove a nice set of oem bodywork. Not as easy as I thought it would be. There's 6 plastic rivets under the nose cone that I'm trying to remove. Any way to do it without breaking something?

What do you mean remove? (Not that I can help, I haven't seen a piece of OEM body work in my life... But I'm pretty sure you don't need to take out any rivets just to get the fairings off from the bike.

I'm trying to remove the bodywork. The nose is plastic riveted to the radiator guard. Maybe I need to remove the front wheel and forks and hang the bike from the rafters.

I need to replace the fork seals anyways.

if original then they are just plastic expanding clips. middle pulls out. they are tapered to spread the wings on the outer to grip the panel into place.
if they are a later / aftermarket type with a philips head, unscrew the centres it not then a sharp small flat head and lever the centre out

As above, pull out the middle of the push in plastic clip and the outer part will pull out too.

There not rivets just expanding plastic plugs.

I thought there is only 4 though, two on each side.. but perhaps 3. Cant remember now.

Sorry there's only 4. Its the original expanding clips. They seem impossible to remove. I just broke one already.

Do it like this:
Heat a thick needle or similar in a lighter flame.
Stick the hot needle in the middle part of the expanding clip, wait until cooled down. Pull on the needle.
If the needle pulls out, retry but this time remove the needle while still hot. This creates a small hole.
Screw a very small screw in the hole, pull on the screw. That should do.
