Help with rebuilding NC35 cooling system

Okay, so as it is my top rad and hoses that connect to said top rad need replacing. I have all the bits ready. The tricky part is flushing all the old coolant out. Any ideas? I've done a search and haven't found anything here in what order to do things. Also, when I put new coolant in, do I fill from the radiator cap or from the reservoir tank?

If you have a Haynes manual it details it in there;
Or if no manual:
- Stick a hose pipe in the top rad (when still connected and with drain bolts out) and leave it in till water runs clear
- Connect everything back together (new copper washers on drain bolts)
- Fill with coolant straight into top rad up to the neck**
- Run the bike till warm, then rev to 5k and back to idle a few times (leave cap off rad while doing this - to bleed system)**
- Check coolant level and top up in top rad if necessary
- Put rad cap back on
- Take out for a spin (~10min?)
- Check coolant level, top up expansion tank if necessary
(**Clean any spitting/overflowing (you might get a few drops/splashes) off any metal/paintwork)
I think thats it, recently did mine and about to do again to fit a new bottom rad

Flush and reverse flush.
Basically as above.
Using a hosepipe flush water through the radiaotor the normal way (from the filler car) then out the bottom (disconnect the hose), do this for both rads.
Then put the hose in the bottom hoses and let the water run the other way.
Same through the engine.
Water should be clear with no crap coming out.
When filling you fill the expansion bottle to max and then fill up the rad to the top, squeeze the hoses to get out air.
Run the bike without the cap until its warm, (be prepared to have some coolant overflow) and blip the throttle to 5000rpm 3 or 4 times allowing to reutn to idle.
turn off the engine and allow to cool, top up rad and replace cap.
