hi all

my 1992 really sounds like its overfueling, well im not actually sure,

bike ticks over fine but when riding ( or revving ) around 7 k its very lumpy

i have taken the carbs off for a bit of a clean and cleaned te jets out etc, is there anythign else that i can do ?

someone has mentioned the below -
You may consider needle valve [float valve and seat] if you were have overfueling issues

is this an easy job ?

It's easy but the valves will be arond a 100 GBP for a set.

Should investigate more, dyno it.

DO you know what jets are in it?

What has changed about it since it started behaving badly? It sat for 3 months?? That it?

Hmm.

If it were over-fuelling id expect black plugs.

If it were fine before id put new fuel in it and make sure the carbs are clean.

if it were needle float vavles it would be leaking fuel into the bike all the time and fill the oil / engine with fuel.

NC30s usually have a bit of a hole around 7000 which is due to lean mixture (raising the needles fixes it) but if you were sur there was no issues before then id make sure the battery is fully charged and eletrical system is ok and clean carbs / replace the fuel
