I got fed up with it being almost impossible to see how fast I was going in the dark due to the piss-poor illumination of the speedo, so I refitted it with LEDs instead. Check it out: http://blog.familjenjonsson.org/blog/20 ... -makeover/

I think it turned out pretty well. Are they really all that poorly illuminated or is there something special with my bike? The temp gauges, in particular, are almost invisible on both the NC23 and the NC30.

well if it helps, I can hardly see the speed I am going when its dark.... the bulbs work too. In summary the clock lights are sh1te.
