My brake pedal has a couple of non standard kinks in it its more or less straight but at the same time its a little wavy... What the trick to straightening it? Can you heat it with a torch and bend it or it is going to vapourise? Thanks

Yes use a torch Otherwise it will snap,Clamp the peddle in a vice grip the shaft end,
Grip the other end or sleeve a piece of tube over,Heat the area to straighten Wile keeping pressure on the peddle,

If you heat it then rub a bit of wood against it, the wood will scorch (leave a black line) when its hot enough to bend, tho if its cast it may snap anyway........
