What are you looking to get out of the bike? Are you going to do any trackdays? What kind of riding do you do?

Suspension, tyres and tracktime is the 3 things we all need more of :)

If you want a Nitron then have a word with one of our members - Rick Oliver. He can do you a decent price and offer good advice. Best to call him and ask him to send you a price list for the other goodies he does...It will keep you amused for a long time indeed!

I have heard good things about the Nitron stuff. If you don't have a decent stand, or abba stand, then think about getting one of them to help with working on the bike.

forks are a different matter - if you have an idea of wat you think needs doing to them then I would suggest doing it yourself. If you are not tech minded, then send them off for a fettle or if in between..get one of Rick's kits to fit yourself.

Lots to be done to the bikes and the only limit is your garage time and money.

Just get riding it then and when something becomes an issue then get it sorted.

No need chucking money at the bike unless you want to get a bit Westwood and pimp it bigtime.. 8-)

if the motor runs lovely, the brakes work, the shock and forks are still supple and damped well enough..then you should be looking to come and play out at the next 400GB trackday in the spring!!

WOOOHOOO

I vote Cadwell again..lol

Have you set yourself a budget? As said above, contact a forum member called Rick Oliver and he can sort you out with a new rear shock and a set of upgraded fork internals and all for less than £500 iirc.

The only mod worth doing to every bike is sorting out the suspension, wether new or old. After I did mine, it changed my bike and my riding for the better.
