Hello peeps, currently stripping my rust pile down to eventually rebuild into something I can be proud of. Taking off the exhaust was going swimmingly until a stud decided to not play along and snapped. Before I dive in and make a bad thing worse any suggestions on how to approach this. My thoughts are first to cut a slot to try a screwdriver on it and then to move onto a blowtorch mole grips/stud extractor. Sound about right? 6/8 of the studs came out with the nut so I'm guessing I have a good chance of getting it out eventually. Thx for any advice.

Looks like you know what your doing so take your time and im sure it will come out with no issues.
I would try the stud extractors before mole grips as they tend to chew it up a bit.
Easy outs tend to snap in my experience and end up leaving a hard point of metal in the stud
