I think I might have a problem with my clutch.

I don't think its disengaging the plates completely when I pull the lever.

Here are the symptoms.

With the engine off, if i'm in neutral, I can roll the bike with very little resistance. If I put it in first, and hold the clutch lever in to the bar, there is slightly more resistance. It's not alot, but it's noticeable.


Is this normal, or is there something wrong?

Nothing strange there bud, most all 30/35's do it.
You could tighten up the clutch cable but you risk causing it to slip under load.

How old is your oil?

Glad its normal. Oil is fresh, only 150Km on it. Mo, you wouldn't happen to have the wee part i'm looking for in the wanted section would you? I've tried most of the NI boys already!

The lever allows for more travel.

Sorry mate, i run 35's - only the 30's have the tourqe arms.

I may have A bolt that would fit but deff not have the spacers.

What length is the bolt? And i'm guessing it's the usual M10x1.25 thread pitch.

Could you not make some spacers up?
