Hi all,
My 73a could do with a new shock or a rebuild so quick question. Are there any other shocks that fit the 73a well? I have searched but only found the answers for the 76's
Cheers

I've called nitron about a shock for my 76 they said that they do one for a 73 but not 76 .they checked hagon shocks out when I was on the phone to them and they do one for both and they are both the same part number so they said the the early mono for the 76 must be the same as the 73

Thanks that's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I think that gives me quite a few alternatives. If anyone can confirm what they've actually fitted that would be great. Don't mind doing a bit of modification if it comes to it!

Hey,
Look at my posts regarding your 73 rear shock,i fitted a k7 rear shock in my 73 but it was a tight fit and i had to shave more of the rocker arm......

If it's any help, I've just fitted a gsxr1000 k7 rear shock to my gk73a with no major modification. Admittedly I've not ridden it yet as I'm in the middle of a ground up rebuild. The only issue I had is that the battery tray needs spacers and longer bolts and the reg rec needs relocating. Hope this helps.
