Chinese headlights

Due to the complete lack of 2nd hand genuine headlights im considering one of these chinese copies

Anyone had one of these and would care to comment on them good or bad?

It's not just you who spotted those then? Could be worth a punt, but I'd be worried about the longevity....

Yeah i can just see them being made of that really thin plastic that cracks with the slightest tap of a screwdriver, its not looking like i have a option though as genuine ones are very thin on the ground

I might have some spare headlights for you, but you will have to wait for a couple months. I just packed them up for the trip from Italy to the USA. I'll dig them out when I get to New Mexico.

RVF headlights? if so yeah i'll wait ive got me Zed to ride now so the RVF can wait until parts become available.

I bought chinese headlights for my R6 - the first set arrived broken and shortly afterwards a replacement set arrived. They weren't actually that bad considering they were much cheaper than a broken set of factory ones.

I know it's not the same but I've used Chinese rear lights as replacements for Volkswagen rear lights and you can't tell the difference once fitted.
Anyway I have some headlight protectors if you need them. :-)
