Heyy guys!
I am thinking on turning my NC35 from a road legal bike into a track bike. As never owning a track bike i am here to ask...
What will need to be done? (parts, mods, fairings?)
Rough cost of how much it will cost to convert?
Is it worth it?
Should i sell my nc35 and perhaps buy an R6 already track specced?
Thanks!

if you have decent quality fairings in original scheme, uncut loom, lights etc they will be worth a bit to offset the cost of converting to track spec
generally the main thing is getting well set up suspension, new fork internals up front and a good quality shock for the rear (nitron or similar) - cost of parts around 400-500 depending on what specs you go for
race subframe you can pick up cheap and plenty of track fairings knocking about that you will be able to pick up for less than 150 quid second hand if you are not too picky about condition
maybe some rear sets too, there are some scruffy jap spec rear sets on ebay listed a few days ago that would be perfect to keep costs down (assuming they go cheap)

or these:

then do a few track days and sort power mods after that i would say

Edit: Just noticed you are in NSW, same principal though, just those links are probably irrelevant!

Just a point. Australia has a lot of the most overpriced everything and that bike on the road is worth a lot of money in Aus. As a track bike it will be worth a lot less.

yes
unless you have a bucket of crap already then sell it and you will buy a great well sorted track bike for the money or less
