Morning Boys

Need some advice please  . Plodding along with my NC30 restoration. Got to the standard rear shock and its
very tired to say the least  . Their appears to be plenty of people out their that will service the shock but does
anyone know if there is a company that will service and restore (as much as possible) back to its original condition.
The rest of the bike has been finished as close to orignal as possible and i really dont want to keep it that way :? .
I appreciate the bikes are 20 years plus old, but have spent quite a few quid getting it back to original and really want to have a nice shiney...ish, working original shock to put back in. Not really to sure as too which route i should take to achieve this ?. Should i look on fleabay and buy the cleanest looking item and get it serviced ???? or try and locate a bespoke restoration company ????

Any advice warmly welcome chaps.

Cheers :peace:

Probably been said that many aftermarket shocks are better, but the stock NC30 came with two types of rear shock if you dont already know.

The 1989 bike had no remote resevoir, the later ones did.

Even if your going for original equipment restore I recommend using a later shock, there loads better than the 1989 non-resevoir shock.
