Most people will likely recommend OEM pads.
However, I tend to run EBC or SBS HH pads on the front of my bikes with Kyoto GG rears. No need for HH pads on the rear brake.

+1 for EBC HH pads, tried other brands but always gone backto ebc, can't seem to beat them for power and feel, track or road.

Carbon Lorraine are bloody good for a race bike but they don't tend to get hot enough to work properly on UK roads IME. They are race oriented in design and not intended as general road going pads.

Carbon Lorraine make pads for road, as well as the race only ones. I doubt Graeme would sell the race only ones to someone asking for them for a road bike. Or do you find that even the road pads take a lot of warming up?

I found even their "road" pads take forever to warm, hence my comment that they aren't really road suitable.

One's person's rubbish is another's treasure...

I've always run EBC HH pads, and lots of people here swear by them. However, there are also people here who hate them. Ultimately, it's all about how you ride, how you brake, what discs/lines you are running, and what you feel comfortable with. Who knows, I could buy some CLs tomorrow and find they're a million times better for me than EBC. Or a complete disaster. However, I'm not unhappy with the EBCs and I'm not very adventurous, especially when I've got a set or two spare... lol

It will be a good few week's until its on the road but i will report on how i personally find them.
Cheers.
