Interesting Bike on the Bay

The Bimota YB9 SR and SRI both use the FZR600R Foxeye engine similar to the favored bike for 3TJ engine swaps. The bike uses a big beam frame with light weight fairing and seat unit. Posh suspension and brembo brakes etc. These bikes also have a pillion seat like the ThunderAce engined YB11 ... notice some of the Yamaha parts are reused.
I think in outright performace the Bim would probably be a little quicker as the airbox should allow the engine to breath a bit better.
They're a fairly pretty bike given the age of the design and at £2k (starting bid) they're a good alternative to a T'cat.
