Hi does anyone know the thread size and length of a nc23 tri arm front wheel spindle bolt ? Pro bolt do a nice stainless one that's m14x1.5x30 I think and would like to get one if it would fit.

Sorry dont know the correct size but a few year ago i made a sizable order and only two items were not right, one was the front spindle bolt, i threw it in the garden in disgust and the other was the front caliper bolts, slightly too long and actually enough to scrape the rotor rivits, possible failure would be the outcomw. I informed Pro Bolt who changed the sizes and they sent me some nice titanium ones as a thankyou. So dont just take their word on sizes from the site.

Ok cheers mate I might send them an email, I don't think it was listed under cbr 400 but ill check when I'm home . Don't even have one to measure as the previous owner was driving around without one , if anyone else has more info it would be much appreciated.

I was looking at it the other day for my nc30 and when I measured mine it was apparent that the pro bolt one, whilst being the right size thread, had a smaller 'face' and I wasn't comfortable that it would hold, so I avoided it.

Thanks for the info , went ahead and ordered one ill post up weather it fits nice or not.

It arrived Wednesday and i am happy with the fit , would recommend it if anyone wants/needs to replace theirs.
