VFR750 Calipers on a VFR400??

Hi there, does anyone know if an '87 VFR750's front caiipers will fit on an '87 VFR400?? (RC24 to NC24)
They look the same in all directions, except that the 750's pistons are larger, and use slightly larger pads too. The hangers are identical.
Would make the little girl stop like hitting a wall!
