long time no see...
cant believe its been nearly two years since i last posted...dont blame me balame the wife and the mortgage we so desprately needed. the one which caused me to sell both the fireblade and nc30.
so after a short gap with no bikes im back with a 98 zx7r ( going through a bit of a old school thing )
anyway, fitted to this 7r is a brembo master cyclinder, which looks real enough to me however having never had one before can anyone confirm if this is a real one or a knock off?

i have not really got on with this but i think it is more due to the fact it is fitted to old 6 pot tokico calipers and a single braided hose that then goes through a splitter to supply both calipers. i guess refurbed cailpers and new single lines to each caliper would make a difference but the 7r is only a stop gap until a few more funds are available.

Hey and welcome back.
It certainly looks like a Brembo MC.
My uncle and good friend have also commented on the shocking front brake set up on a 7R.

thats gives me an idea, i will get them swapped over later in the week and offer it up on here i think before sticking it on ebay.
its a really nice piece of kit, i just cant really get on with it on the 7. but i still think thats down to the lines and calipers not just the m/c
